Growing up, my mother was my first hair care guru. She believed that the secret to strong, healthy hair wasn’t found in fancy bottles but in the everyday rituals of care—warm oil massages, homemade masks crafted from kitchen staples, and the simple, mindful act of braiding my hair into two long, thick plaits before school. She didn’t just care for my hair; she taught me to listen to it.

As I grew older, I began to see the invisible threads that connected my hair to everything else—what I ate, how I moved, the stress I carried, my genetics, and even the occasional chemical treatments I experimented with. Each insight shaped my understanding of hair wellness, shifting my focus from superficial fixes to deep, lasting nourishment.

After years at L’Oréal Research & Innovation, I felt a calling to take this knowledge beyond the lab and into real lives. In 2023, I founded The Volume Company from my home—not just as a brand, but as a movement toward honest, sustainable, and truly holistic hair care. Here, we blend the wisdom of nature with the precision of science, creating plant-based, cruelty-free formulas that go beyond temporary solutions.
