Growing up, my mother was my hair care guru, instilling in me a deep appreciation for natural remedies and thoughtful nourishment. From meticulously braiding my hair into two thick, long plaits for school to crafting homemade concoctions from kitchen staples and organic wonders, she nurtured my hair with love, fostering its strength and vitality without relying on fancy products.

These childhood rituals laid the foundation for my lifelong journey with hair care. As I journeyed through life, I found myself connecting the dots between various factors—what I eat, my activity levels, my body’s unique characteristics influenced by family genetics, stress levels, hydration, and even the occasional chemical treatment. Each revelation added a new layer of understanding about my hair’s needs, painting a fuller picture beneath the surface and guiding me towards a more holistic approach to hair wellness.

In 2023, after years at L’Oreal Research & Innovation, I followed my heart and founded The Volume Company from my home. It was a calling to spread awareness that hair health mirrors deeper wellness. I envisioned TVC as a trusted companion on a holistic hair wellness journey, making honest, sustainable care accessible to all.
